The Pepsi Center is one of the best places to catch top Denver concerts in August. You will find top international artists performing here each month. It has a capacity of just under 20,000 people and there is not a bad seat in the house.
Located just south of Denver, Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre offers top outdoor Denver concerts in August. You will find international stars from a variety of genres including classic rock, country, top 40 and more. They offer more than a dozen concerts each month during the late Spring, Summer, and early Fall.
Head over to the Botanic Gardens this month for one of their popular concerts on the lawn. They feature well known bands including artists such as Dwight Yoakam, Melissa Etheridge, and Gipsy King. Most of their shows start around 6:30pm or 7pm.
The most famous outdoor concert venues is Red Rocks. Located about 20 minutes from downtown Denver, this famous amphitheatre offers Denver concerts in August most nights of the week. The Capitol Hill District is where you will find another famous Denver concert venue, the Fillmore Auditorium. It holds about 3,500 so you will get a great, close-up view from almost every seat in the house. It's currently managed by Live Nation Entertainment, which draws in a variety of artists from all around the world.
Located just north of downtown Denver is one of the top places to catch a country music concert. The Grizzly Rose is a country nightclub that features live music six nights a week. You will find top artists such as Clint Black and John Michael Montgomery as well as up and coming artists from all around the US. These are some of their top shows this month.
The Paramount Theatre is a downtown historic gem. This venue offers a handful of Denver concerts in August. In addition, you can also catch some other fun shows here each month including comedy, movies with discussions from top actors, and more. It's right off the 16th Street Mall on Glenarm Place.
The Ogden Theatre is another top Denver concert venue in the Capitol Hill District. You will find it on East Colfax just a couple of blocks away from the Fillmore Auditorium. This venues offers shows most nights of the week and focuses on contemporary rock artists.
The Summit Music Hall is one of the few places to catch top Denver concerts in August in the downtown district. The venue is near Coors Field in the Lower Downtown district. It's mostly standing room only with just a handful of bar tops and chairs. Most concerts here are metal and punk rock.
Cervantes offers a more intimate setting in the Five Points District. They have two stages for Denver concerts in August. The first is called the Masterpiece Ballroom and is the larger stage of the two. The second is called The Other Side and it's where the smaller shows are performed.
