One of the favorite Labor Day weekend in Denver festivals is A Taste of Colorado. Here you can eat lots of food, listen to lots of music, go shopping, and have family fun with your kids.
If you are a foodie, you are in luck as you will have over 50 different restaurants to choose from. If you'd rather do some shopping, then check out over 275 booths that have everything you'd desire.
As for kids, there are activities galore! Lastly, if you are looking for some tunes, you will love it because many local acts perform here. They range from rock 'n' roll to country.

The annual Brews & Views Beer Fest is a beer lover's dream. At this beer fest on Labor Day Weekend in Denver, you will have your choice of over 40 different craft brews to taste and enjoy.
If you want to relax with your brew, you can enjoy live music from local bands as you eat some yummy food. Then, if you want to work off some of those calories, you play lawn games and take in some of the gorgeous views from Hudson Gardens.
All in all, a perfect way for beer lovers to spend the day!

Elitch Gardens is well-known as a great getaway from the summer heat on Labor Day Weekend in Denver. Not only is it a wonderful water park, it is also a theme park in case you don't want to just get wet and play in the water.
If you are looking for a bit of a different thrill while at Elitch, make sure to check out the fireworks that are on Sunday night just after the park closes. You can watch from their parking lot or any location nearby.
So make sure to bring your bathing suit, sunglasses, and willingness to become a kid again no matter what age you are!

If you are a baseball fan, Labor Day weekend in Denver is the place to be! With the incredible views and easy proximity to downtown Denver, you will be happy that you decided to hang out and watch some home runs at Coors Field.
If you want a hot dog or beer, don't worry because there is great food and drinks at Coors Field. However, if you want to eat a bit before or after the game, you will be well taken care of because there are many wonderful restaurants close to Coors Field.
The Rockies will be playing the San Francisco Giants on Monday.

Labor Day weekend in Denver is the place to take in some hard-hitting college football. It also gives you the chance to watch one of the great college football rivalries in Colorado. The Rocky Mountain Showdown is an annual game between the Colorado Buffalo and the Colorado State University Rams.
This highly charged football competition is played at Mile High Stadium, so you are sure to have a great seat to see all the hard hitting plays.

Get your engines revving and your heart pumpin during Labor Day Weekend in Denver by attending the Bandimere Speedway races.
This is a quarter-mile dragstrip, where racers can get reach speeds of up to 320 mph, is also known as Thunder Mountain. That gives you an idea of what to expect when you see these speedsters.
There are a number of different ticket options, so make sure to take your time and find the right one for you and for your family.
Head over to the River North (RiNo) District this Labor Day Weekend in Denver. This high-energy neighborhood is home to more than a dozen breweries. You will find everything from ciders to IPAs and a chance to meet hundreds of other beer lovers.
Some of my top picks here include Stem Ciders, Mockery Brewing, and the Great Divide. You can head out on your own or on a guided tour. My favorite guided tour is the 3-hour tour around the district that stops at three breweries. You will get a chance to sample a beer at all three. In addition to the stops, you will also learn more about the history of brewing in Denver and how it became such a hot spot!
All weekend long, you will find dozens of fun things to do with the kids and your entire family. This weekend, you can visit the Denver Zoo, spend the day at the Museum of Science and Nature, or stroll around Four Mile Historic Park.

Boulder Creek Hometown Festival
Location: Central Park in Boulder
Spend this Labor Day weekend at the Boulder Creek Hometown Festival. It's a celebration that includes live entertainment, a 5k run, a Classic Car & Motorcycle Show, and the Rocky Mountain Pizza & Pints Festival (on Monday).
It's three full days of fun near downtown Boulder.
