Broadway Shows & Theater in July 2020

my fair lady

The much beloved My Fair Lady come to Denver starting on Thursday, the 14th and ending on Sunday, the 26th.

This classic love story is centered around the young, and somewhat rough around the edges, Eliza Doolittle. The impressive linguistics professor, Henry Higgins, has decided to make her his project and help her become a "proper lady." After showing her off, as his accomplishment, she realizes that she has been treated unfairly and leaves. Higgins thinks she'll come crawling back, but finds out that he is the one who needs her more. Will love win out? Some of the most famous songs include, "The Rain in Spain", "Wouldn't it be Loverly", and "On the Street Where You Live."

The show runs for 2 hours and 55 minutes with one intermission. The show is family friendly.

the band's visit

The smash hit Broadway musical, where a group of Egyptian musicians who are lost and confused, arrives in an Israeli town. The people are bored, complacent, and waiting for something to change their lives. The band decides to entertain the town and magic starts to happen to everyone.

As people meet and talk to each other, become friends, and learn more about each of their cultures. This show gives you the hope that people can become more than they are and bridge gaps between each other no matter where they are from or what they believe.

The Band's Visit has won 10 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, and has also won a Grammy Award. This is a can't miss show while you are visiting The Mile High City. It runs 1 hour and 40 minutes without an intermission. It is suggested that attendees be ages 10 and above.

The Band's Visit comes to Denver starting on Wednesday, 7/29 and ends on Sunday, 8/9.

Sample Brews in the Rino district

Calling all beer lovers! Make sure to spend some time in the Rino District this July. It's the heart of our local brewery scene and is home to more than a dozen local breweries.

One of the best times to visit is during their First Friday event. The event runs from 6 pm to 9 pm on the first Friday of the month (7/3) and features live music, art openings, and other special activities you can enjoy as you sample our amazing craft beers.
