In addition to the Denver concerts in January, you will also find so many other fun things to do. Here are just a few of my top picks this month.
Theater: Denver's theater scene is one of the best in the county. With the new performing arts center, the city brings in dozens of traveling Broadway musicals and shows every year. You will also find several local and community theaters around town with new shows, regional releases, and locally produced award winning productions. Find a calendar of upcoming shows here.
Avalanche: There are very few Denver concerts in January at the Pepsi Center because the Colorado Avalanche are in season this month. You will find about a half dozen games against teams such as the Dallas Starts, the San Jose Sharks, and others. Find this months schedule.
Nuggets: The Denver Nuggets share the Pepsi Center with the Avalanche this month as they take on top teams such as the Golden State Warriors, the San Antonio Spurs, and the Minnesota Timberwolves. Check out their schedule of upcoming games here.
National Western Stock Show & Rodeo: One of the largest rodeos in the region rolls into town every January. For more than two weeks, you can watch rodeos, stock shows, live music, and more.
More Fun Things to Do in Denver: Another one of the biggest things to do this month is to head to our nearby skiing resorts. You will find several options within a couple of hours of downtown Denver or the airport. This month, you can also head out on a walking or bus tour of Denver, check out what's happening at the Denver Art Museum, and so much more. Find a full list of fun things to do this month here.
