The Colorado Symphony: The Colorado Symphony is beloved for its musical options that range from the classic to the most modern. The symphony usually has about 10 to 12 performances each month and you will love the choices for the month of December. Theater: Denver's theater scene is one of the best in the county. With the new performing arts center, the city brings in dozens of traveling Broadway musicals and shows every year. The Pepsi Center seats more than 18,000 people and is our largest indoor concert venue. It's home to dozens of performances each year from international stars. In January, you will usually just find a handful of shows as it's also the venue for both our Colorado Avalanche and the Denver Nuggets.
The Fillmore Auditorium is a classic place to catch a show in Denver. It's mostly a general admission venue with a capacity around 4,000.
The Grizzly Rose is located just north of downtown Denver. They offer only country music performances. They offer shows most nights of the week with big name acts taking the stage a few times each month.
Located in downtown Denver, the Paramount Theater is a multi-purpose theater that offers concerts, live talks and more. It's all assigned seating and you will find it just off the 16th Street Mall.
The Ogden Theater usually offers contemporary rock shows on stage. The venue offers space for around 1,600 people. It's another historic gem in the Capitol Hill District.
The Summit Music Hall is a venue that offers shows from both international acts as well as up-and-coming locals. They focus mainly on metal & punk rock shows.
You will find a variety of performers at Cervantes. They have two stages and both host musical acts focusing on everything from bluegrass to punk rock.

Colorado Avalanche: There are very few Denver concerts in January at the Pepsi Center because the Colorado Avalanche are in season this month. You will find about a half dozen games against teams such as the Dallas Starts, the San Jose Sharks, and others. Find this months schedule.
