One of them has been on numerous first dates. For the other, it's their first time. The awkward evening includes discussions on religion and previous relationship. The date quickly goes south with some plots twists along the way.

Stomp at the Buell

Location: Buell Theater

Listen to the rhythm of New York on Valentine's Day in Denver at the Buell Theater. Stomp is a high energy performance where the performers create music by using a variety of instruments such as garbage cans, brooms, lighters and more.

The show also includes lively dancing and other performances. This wordless performance includes eight cast members with a variety of talents. 

Valentine's Day in Denver 90's Block Party

Spend this Valentine's Day in Denver at the Bellco at this 90's Block Party. Performs this year include Guy, Teddy Riley, 112, Next and Ginuwine. The party starts at 7pm.

Head over to the Hi-Dive for Valentine's Day Special: "Sweethearts of the Rodeo" featuring Chella and the Charm, Ryann & Lee, Jennifer Niceley, Bonnie & Taylor, and Five Mile Woods.

Other Denver concerts on Valentine's Day include 1000mods at Globe Hall, G Perico at the Larimer Lounge, and Howard Jones Solo - The Songs & The Stories at the Soiled Dove Underground.

Colorado Avalanche at the Pepsi Center

Cheer on the Colorado Avalanche this Valentine's Day in Denver. Watch Mikko Rantanen, Nathan MacKinnon,  and their teammates take on the Montreal Canadians.

The Avalanche have been fun to watch this year with several players showing some great improvement. Heading to a game is the perfect treat for all hockey and sports lovers.

The game is at the Pepsi Center and starts at 7:30pm.

Comedy at the Voodoo Comedy Playhouse

The Voodoo Comedy Playhouse is the place to be this Valentine's Day in Denver. On Wednesday, February 14, you will find two shows.

The first is Bitch Squad & Hairstyles of the Damned. This one-hour improv show will keep you laughing all night long. This show runs from 8pm to 9pm.

The second show of the night is The Laboratory: Standup Comedy Open Mic. This free show is open to the public. Grab the stage to show off your talents or just sit back and enjoy a night filled with up-and-coming local talent.

Colorado Symphony

The Colorado Symphony has over 150 different shows each year. It is renown for the ability to be experimental while still staying with the tried and true that are known by all. The weekend before Valentines Day in Denver, they has two presentations for you listening, and viewing, pleasure.

The show this weekend is on both Friday (2/9) and Saturday (2/10). It's Brett Mitchell - John Williams: An American Journey. Both shows will be at the Boettcher Concert Hall.

Make sure to have your tennis shoes on, and your hunny with you, as you get ready to have a little fun the weekend before Valentines Day in Denver on February 11th in Washington Park.

This 5K run also includes the possibility of meeting someone new if you are running solo. The event encourages runners to wear costumes, be silly, and even play "Spin the Bottle." You can also check out their "Kissing Booth" if you really need a little more of a thrill after you finish running.
