Father's Day always has some of the best things to do in Denver in June. The only problem is that there are so many events going on that is often hard to choose!
Some of the events during Father's Day in Denver include the Greek Festival, The Cherry Blossom Festival, Denver Comic Con, and the Denver Arts Festival. Other highlights this weekend include the Foothills Explorer tour from Denver or a visit to Elitch Gardens.
As mentioned above, one of the more exciting things to do in Denver in June is the Foothills Explorer tour. This tour takes you on a 4 hour tour leaving from Denver and heading to Red Rocks Amphitheatre. It also takes you over to Bear Creek Canyon. After that, you will wind your way back to Denver.
Some of the other tours this month include a sightseeing tour of downtown Denver and one of Denver's brewery tours (where you can taste beer from local craft breweries and get a behind the scenes look at how beer is made).
Another favorite this month is the Rocky Mountain National Park Day Trip from Denver. It gives you a look at the beauty around Denver and a chance to cross the Great Divide! How many people can say they did that in their lifetime?
One of the other fun things to do in Denver in June is to head to a concert. This month, the concert calendar includes both outdoor and indoor shows.
In June, you will find outdoor concerts at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Fiddler's Green, and at the Botanic Gardens. You can also catch some free shows in our local parks.
The indoor concerts calendar is also full of shows at the Pepsi Center, the Bellco, the Paramount, and many other local venues.
If you are looking for a Broadway or theater show during June, you are going to be happy you are in Denver. There are always many shows to choose from including well known productions such as Cabaret, The Phantom of the Opera, and An American in Paris.
If you aren't in the mood for a Broadway show, Denver is still the place for you as there are many lesser known shows with more intimate theaters all over town. Some of these shows are locally written and produced so you might see a play that you won't see anywhere else.
Being that there are so many theater events happening in Denver, make sure to click the calendar link below to find one that fits exactly what you are looking for during your visit to the Mile High City.

Denver is definitely known for being a big time sports town. There are 7 different teams in Denver so you can always find one of them in action during the year.
The three teams that play during the month of June include the major league outdoor lacrosse team The Denver Outlaws, the 2010 MLS Champions' Cup winning Colorado Rapids, and the always enjoyable Colorado Rockies Major League Baseball team.
The Outlaws and Rapids have a few games each month, while the Rockies usually have about 15-18 home games in June.

If you are visiting Denver in the month of June, you are in for a treat. The day time weather is usually in the mid-80s to lower 90s, and other than a few thunderstorms, Denver is usually sunny and the air is always clean.
With the thinner air here, it does tend to cool down at night. The average lows in June are in the mid-50s. This is why I typically bring along a light jacket when I head out at night.
You will also encounter some thunderstorms. However, they typically don't last long as our average rainfall all month long is only around 2 inches.
You say you want to do a bit of shopping while you are on vacation in Denver? Well, we've got everything you need to find what you need. The great news it that there are dozens of places to visit. I've created a list of my 9 favorites to get you started.
Some of these shopping areas include the well known 16th Street Mall, the Cherry Creek Shopping Mall and its sister shopping mall at Cherry Creek North. A few others include Larimer Square, Flatiron Crossing, Denver Pavilions and Park Meadows.
Simply stated, you could spend your whole vacation just visiting all these shopping areas and you'd still be able to come back for more!
Some of the best things to do in Denver in June are the festivals. There are a lot and we have compiled a list so that you can find exactly what you want and where you want to go during your stay here in Denver.
Some of the most famous festivals include Denver PrideFest which celebrates LGBTQ pride. Of course, everyone is welcome and the parade is always a huge favorite of anyone in Denver.
Another festival is Comic Con where people dress up as their favorite character. The festival also brings in famous actors and stars that often meet and greet the fans.
Some of the other top festivals in June include the Westward Music Showcase, the Denver Taco Festival (YUM!), Brewgrass, and the Denver Chalk Art Festival.
Some of the best things to do in Denver in June include our outdoor attractions and museums. The weather is beautiful this time of year and it's a fun time to enjoy these places.
My first recommendation for June is the Botanic Gardens. Almost everything is in bloom and you will feel like you have just walked into a magical kingdom all your own.
The Four Mile Historic Walk is a great way to learn more about the Denver of olden days. As you walk around this park, you'll see blacksmiths, carriage barns and visit a museum. Of course, Red Rocks Amphitheatre is close if you find yourself craving more outdoors adventures.
The Santa Fe Arts District is a must see attraction. It is being called "Denver's next great art district" and it never disappoints. Make sure to walk around and see many different types of art.
You can also step indoors for one of the best museums in the US. The Denver Art Museum is where you can see modern art, artists at work, and enjoy special events for kids and families.
If you are looking for fun things to do in Denver in June with kids, we've got you covered. You probably have more things to do than time to do them, but here are some I think you will all enjoy.
Head over to Water World to enjoy a day of fun in the sun and water. It's just a 15 minute drive from downtown Denver.
Another one of the fun things to do in Denver in June with the entire family is to head to Elitch Gardens. It's right downtown and offers dozens of rides and activities. They also have some free concerts in June.
The Downtown Aquarium is also a great place to go with the entire family. Inside, you will find several exhibits including North America, Under the Sea, The Rainforest, and the Coral Lagoon.
Some of the other things to do in Denver in June with kids include the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, Denver's Children Museum and the Denver Zoo.
Now that we've talked about what to do with kids, let's talk about the best things to do in Denver in June during the night time. Denver has some of the best nightlife options and you will be able to find many choices.
Some of these include indoor and outdoor concerts. You can also catch a comedy show at one of the many comedy houses around the city.
Since Denver is well known for its beer, you can always find lots of great restaurants, bars and breweries to check out and enjoy. Denver also has pretty much any type of food you could find so try a few different places during your stay and enjoy all the nightlife options out in the Mile High City.
