If you want to treat mom to a very special event, make sure to pick up the Mother's Day Family Photo Ticket Package. These tickets include a pre-game parade, the game, a post-game on the field photograph taken by the Rockies' team photographer of your mom and your family, and a special wristband.
In addition to Sunday, this series against the San Diego Padres starts on Friday with another game on Saturday.

This show has been a Broadway hit from the day it opened and has won many awards. Famous for the incredible sets, costumes, and so much more, your mom will never forget this wonderful gift when you take her to it. Known for songs such as "No one mourns the Wicked", I"m not that girl", and the favorite, "Defying Gravity", this is a show not to be missed!
There are two performances of WICKED on Mother's Day. The matinee is at 2 pm and the evening show at 7:30 pm. Both shows are at the Buell Theatre and usually sell out very quickly. So, work your magic and get them as soon as possible!
The Spread the Word Music Festival is heading into its seventh year this Mother's Day Weekend in Denver. This festival celebrates local Colorado artists and gives a platform for up-and-coming performers.
The three day festival offers music of all types including jazz, rock, bluegrass, electronic, and everything in between. The event is at the Denver Coliseum located at 4600 Humboldt Street in Denver.
The event starts on Friday, the 17th in the evening and runs all day on Saturday, the 18th, and Sunday the 19th for Mother's Day.

The lovely Susanna is being courted by the romantic Figaro during this wonderful opera on Mother's Day in Denver. As they fall in love, and get set to marry, the marriage doesn't go quite as planned.
The horrible Count Almaviva decides that he wants to marry Susanna and tries to seduce her. This, for obvious reasons, upsets the countess. This opera is full of comedy, farce, and romance. It would be the perfect way to listen to beautiful songs, enjoy the amazing costumes and sets, and enjoy Mother's Day.

The show is at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House and this matinee starts at 2 pm. The Marriage of Figaro is 3 hours long with one 20-minute intermission.
Head over to the Denver Botanic Gardens on Mother's Day to see some of the gorgeous plants, trees, and other gorgeous flowers throughout the York Street gardens. This park includes spaces like the Gardens of the West with its Ornamental Grasses Garden, Dryland Mesa, and the Sacred Earth garden.
Some of the other areas include the Internationally Inspired Garden with Bill Hakosawa's Bonsai Pavilion, the South Africa Plaza, the Rock Alpine Garden, and so much more.
There are too many other garden areas to mention, so take your mom, wander around them, and enjoy the beauty and peacefulness during Mother's Day in Denver.
They will be open on Mother's Day from 9am to 8pm, so you will have plenty of time to check out the gardens.
If you mom loves pottery, then head over to the annual Denver Potter's Association Spring Show and Sale. This year's event runs from May 9th to the 12th at the Sixth Avenue United Church (3250 E. Sixth Avenue).
During the event, you will get the chance to check out pieces from several local artists. They will showcase their ceramic works as well as jewelry, wood pieces, and glass. This event is free and runs from 11am to 3pm on Sunday.
This event runs all weekend long, starting on Thursday and ending on Sunday, so you will have numerous chances to take your mom here.
If your mom is anything like my mom, then she'll enjoy spending some time shopping on Mother's Day in Denver.

Take a stroll under the canopy lights in Larimer Square, Denver's first historic district, where you'll find home furnishings, beauty products, boutiques, and art galleries.
Treat your mom to some bubbly at Corridor 44, Denver's only champagne bar, or raise a glass to her at Cru, a wine bar featuring more than 50 selections. Entertainment options include Comedy Works and piano bar Ocean Prime.

Spend a girls' day shopping at the upscale Cherry Creek Shopping Center about three miles from downtown Denver. The more than 160 stores include Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Tory Burch, Louis Vuitton, and Tiffany.
There are plenty of dining options as well. Don't forget to buy your mom something special!

At Denver Pavilions, you can bond with your mom over manicures at Denver Nail Lounge, check out designer perfumes at the Fragrance Outlet, or try on hats at The Hat Collection boutique.
There's more than just shopping, too. Hear some live music at Jazz @ Jack's and the Hard Rock Cafe or take mom bowling at Lucky Strike Lanes — be nice and let her win a game!

If your mom is thrifty, head to Colorado Mills, an indoor outlet mall about seven miles west of downtown Denver. More than 200 stores include Coach, Eddie Bauer Outlet, Michael Kors, J. Crew Factory, and Neiman Marcus Last Call. This is the perfect location to spend some time buying mom her favorites during this Mother's Day in Denver.
With all the bargains you find, you'll have enough leftover to treat mom to a chai at Kataluma Chai, featuring hundreds of varieties, or one of the 130 specialty brews at Yard House.
