Opera Colorado: mozart's the marriage of figaro

The lovely Susanna is being courted by the romantic Figaro during this wonderful opera on Mother's Day in Denver. As they fall in love, and get set to marry, the marriage doesn't go quite as planned.

The horrible Count Almaviva decides that he wants to marry Susanna and tries to seduce her. This, for obvious reasons, upsets the countess. This opera is full of comedy, farce, and romance. It would be the perfect way to listen to beautiful songs, enjoy the amazing costumes and sets, and enjoy Mother's Day.

If you want to learn more about the opera, there is a pre-performance discussion.

The show is at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House and this matinee starts at 2 pm. The Marriage of Figaro is 3 hours long with one 20-minute intermission.
