Children's Museum

The Children's Museum of Denver is perfect for anyone that is a kid or is still a kid at heart. This museum features exhibits where kids can learn and become intellectual explorers of the world around them. The best part is that this isn't just limited to inside the museum, but also outside it as well.

There are many exhibits to check out and enjoy. Some of them include ones like The Big Backyard, where everything is expanded so your kid can imagine what it is like being a tiny bug in a backyard. There is also the Book Nook where your child can read, learn, and listen to stories. One of the favorites of almost all visitors is the Box Canyon. Children can play in the canyon and even take a child-sized zipline in it!

If you decide to make this one of your stops during the free days at Denver museums, you'll want to plan ahead as the Target sponsored first Tuesday of each month starts at 4 pm and runs until 8 pm. It is extremely popular, and you won't want to miss it on your trip to our Mile High City!
