10. The Crawford

The Crawford Hotel

Address: 1701 Wynkoop Street, Denver, CO 80202

Room Rates: From $236 a night, find room rates and availability on

This is one of the newer downtown Denver hotels being that it was just opened in 2014. The Crawford has 112 rooms on 4 floors and it is fully non-smoking.

One of the more interesting design accents of The Crawford is that some of the rooms are based on the old Pullman train cars that would stop in Denver on their way across the USA. Others look like something straight out of Union Station, which is where The Crawford is located.

Some of the other rooms have exposed wood beams and exquisite brickwork towered over by vaulted ceilings. Without question, The Crawford has some of the most interesting, and distinctive architecture, in all of Denver.

These rooms may all have different styles but they all feature the same wonderful amenities. These include 47 inch flat screen tvs, free wifi, and iPad minis for your listening pleasure. Some of the bathrooms are quite ornate with clawfoot tubs and over the head rain showers.

The Crawford is cat and dog friendly (as long as they aren't bigger than 60 lbs) and you are allowed up to two of your furry friends.

The Crawford has a restaurant on site and a gym to work off those calories that you gained as you enjoyed a meal there. There is also an in room spa and salon so you can relax and rejuvenate after your workout in the gym.

One of the truly unique benefits of staying at The Crawford is the use of a Tesla 100% electric car within 2 miles of the hotel. This is only if it is available so make sure to ask in advance.
