Grab your Colorado Rapids tickets for 2019 and head to Dick's Sporting Goods Park to cheer on the 2010 MLS Cup champions. The stadium is just a short 15 minute drive from downtown.
They play 17 home games each year between April and October. If they make it to the playoffs, their season will extend out a few additional weeks.
You will find their home game 2019 schedule below. In addition, you can also learn more about how to get to the stadium, a little history about the team, and the best places to find gear before the game.

Even though downtown Denver is a short drive away, you will find a number of great accommodations even closer in Stapleton. Here are some of my top picks. They are perfect if you want to stay closer to Dick's Sporting Goods Park.
The Colorado Rapids play all of their home games at Dick's Sporting Goods Park. It is located at 6000 Victory Way, Commerce City, CO 80022.
It's on the southwest corner of the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge. It's about one mile off I-70.
You can enter the stadium from three locations:
Parking is free at the stadium.
If you want to learn more about the stadium, then I recommend taking one of their free walking tours. They are offered Monday - Friday from 9am and 6pm (Mountain Time). While they do offer them all year long, they are sometimes postponed on bad weather days.
Even though the tours are free, you must get a ticket to join in. You can pick them up at the ticket office on site before the tour begins.
If you want to grab a drink or dinner either before or after the game, I recommend heading south to Stapleton. You will find a group of restaurants for all budgets about a mile south.
Take Quebec Street south to Northfield Boulevard and head east. On Northfield, you will find a shopping and restaurant area (where the Target is located). In this area, some of my favorite options are:
The Colorado Rapids are an American soccer team that competes in the Western Conference of Major League Soccer (MLS). They were one of the original 10 founding soccer teams when the MLS began in 1996. MLS is the highest level of soccer in both the USA and Canada.
In their first season, they placed dead last but in 1997 the Colorado Rapids reached the finals but lost to DC United 2-1. They won the MLS cup in 2010.
Two of the most memorable moments in Colorado Rapids team history occurred when Marcos Balboa did a bicycle kick and it was the goal of the year. The other was when they clinched a playoff spot against the LA Galaxy by scoring in the 97th minute.
The team has had an up-and-down career since it began but the new season has brought a lot of change and there is a lot of enthusiasm for the new players and what they can achieve with them.
Colorado Rapids tickets are easy to come by and the games are so much fun! I highly recommend adding this family-friendly activity to your itinerary during your stay.
